End Of 2021 Update

Hello OTM Family,

Thank you for your prayers and support! As new parents of two boys, Yuko and I (Mike) have been very busy in this season. Please continue to pray for God’s provision for our family and OTM to continue serving in Japan. I have to renew my visa before June and there are a couple of things to do before I can get it renewed: 1. Establish a residence in Japan 2. Find a job/self-employed basketball training so I can pay taxes.

I’ve also started a great job as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Azusa Pacific University. It’s a higher level, NCAA Division 2, and it comes with a lot of benefits that can help my college coaching career further along. However, the job isn’t enough to help sustain a family. So our family’s prayer is that God will provide a better paying coaching job for me at the college/professional level.

Our goal for the next year is to train students in Japan on a weekly basis via OTM. Secondly, I will be hosting a basketball summer league in the summer for basketball athletes that want to improve themselves. Lastly, we will continue to host OTM Basketball Camps for Japanese youth throughout Japanese. These opportunities will help us to spread the love of God and share the gospel to many.
